The following statement was released by MSF on Saturday, 3rd October.
“It is with deep sadness that we confirm so far the death of MSF staff members during the bombing last night of MSF’s hospital in Kunduz. Latest casualty figures report 37 people seriously wounded, of whom 19 are MSF staff.”
On Sunday 4th October MSF released a statement confirming that 12 staff MSF staff members and 10 patients were killed. Handicap International wishes to strongly condemn this terrible bombing and to express its full support to colleagues and friends at Doctors without Borders.
