Humanity & Inclusion Welcomes New Board Member

Kris Ritter brings human resources expertise to organization serving people with disabilities in times of peace, conflict and disaster

Silver Spring, Maryland – Humanity & Inclusion is pleased to announce that Kris Ritter has joined its U.S. Board of Directors. She was elected to the Board at its September meeting.

Ritter is a human resources professional with more than 20 years of experience, primarily with nonprofits, NGOs, and small businesses. She currently leads Holistic Human Resources, a consulting firm that provides fractional HR leadership and advisory services to hybrid and remote organizations.

“Throughout her career, Ms. Ritter has been committed to fostering a positive workplace,” says Nancy Kelly, HI’s Board President. “Her expertise in HR strategy and her passion for helping mission-driven organizations adapt to the challenges of the modern workplace make her a trusted advisor and leader in the field. We look forward to working with her to further HI’s mission of serving people with disabilities and communities experiencing vulnerability in 60 countries.”

Ritter received her B.A. from Michigan State University and M.A. from Central Michigan University. She holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute and is certified to use Everything DiSC® assessments and the Six Types of Working Genius. Ritter currently resides in Fairfax, VA.
