Humanity & Inclusion Welcomes Two New Board Members

Ana Bilik and Sara Goldberg bring decades of international development, strategic partnerships, and fundraising experience to HI 

SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND – Humanity & Inclusion is pleased to announce that Ana Bilik and Sara Goldberg have joined its U.S. Board of Directors. They were elected to the Board at its March 2025 meeting. 

Ana Bilik is a seasoned international development leader with 25 years of experience fostering partnerships, strong teams, and board collaboration. She has shaped strategy at Vikāra Institute and led Tanager, securing over $1 billion to improve livelihoods, gender equity, and nutrition. Committed to inclusion, she volunteers with Fairfax County, Virginia, helping adults and children with physical disabilities safely enjoy water activities. 

Sara Goldberg is an accomplished nonprofit leader with 20 years of experience in fundraising, strategic messaging, and team development. Previously with Humanity & Inclusion, she now leads philanthropic efforts as Vice President of Development at the National Partnership for Women & Families. Dedicated to community building and social change, she has supported organizations at all levels.

Together, Ana and Sara bring a wealth of knowledge and vision that will undoubtedly strengthen HI’s ability to uphold the dignity and rights of people with disabilities. We are so fortunate to have them join our team." 

Bilik earned her master’s in public administration from Rutgers University and a bachelor's degree from Columbia University. She lives in Washington, DC.

Goldberg holds a bachelor’s degree in history and women’s studies from Luther College and a master's degree in social science from the University of Chicago. She lives in Takoma Park, Maryland.

Having previously worked with HI, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of its mission to safeguard the respect, freedoms, and fundamental necessities of individuals with disabilities and those enduring severe adversity,” Goldberg says. “HI’s commitment to action and advocacy inspires me deeply, and I am thrilled to contribute my experience in fundraising, communications, and community-building to advance its vital work. Together, we can amplify HI’s impact and create a more inclusive and equitable world for all."
