In Kyrgyzstan, Humanity & Inclusion helped people with disabilities to become financially self-sufficient. The organization also developed the skills of people's organizations to advocate for their rights. HI has ended its actions in the country.

Our actions
In this country where the population is very poor, Humanity & Inclusion was carrying out a project to promote the economic inclusion of people with disabilities in a northern province. They were trained in sewing or in cooking ready-made meals and benefited from micro-subsidies to start their business of manufacturing and selling handcrafts, ready-made meals, fruit and vegetables, etc.
The association also taught teachers in vocational training centers educational methods adapted to people with disabilities. It raised awareness among social workers, organizations of people with disabilities and representatives of the employment office of the specific support for people with disabilities.
At the same time, Humanity & Inclusion was strengthening the technical and management skills of people's organizations so that they'd encourage vocational training institutions to improve the reception of people, and more broadly so that they could campaign to improve their quality of life.
Humanity & Inclusion has ended its actions in Kyrgyzstan.
